Is there anything that you’ve always wanted to do, but have
not gotten around to doing?
...It could be something silly or simple, but for
whatever reason you haven’t done it.
In April 2013- right before my 24th Birthday I came up with a list of 25 things I would like to complete before turning 25 years old. I have a bucket list, but not everything on the list is relevant to my current life. I wanted goals for the year to keep life interesting, get me out of my comfort zone, and a reason to get going on some things that I had kept saying I’d like to do, but never got around to doing.

#21 on the list is to complete a monthly challenge. This
month’s challenge is to write at least 4 blog posts in the month of January. I
still need to determine an item for #4 and the final 3 month challenges- please
share any ideas!

a weekend away volunteering or attending a retreat
23. Take
a spontaneous weekend trip: Completed 10/18/13 Brett and I put 4 different possible
trips in a hat and picked one after work on Friday. We drew backpacking-
immediately after we packed up the car- got some groceries and drove out to the
Trinity Alps- started hiking at 8 pm. Hiked 4 miles in and set up camp- then
spent the rest of the weekend in the Clear Creak Canyon.
24. Make
a homemade Italian meal from scratch: Completed Aunt Jeanie’s sauce, homemade
lasagna noodles, and tiramisu from scratch. 11/3/13 for friends and 12/20/13
again for the family Christmas Party.
25. Make
a list of 25 unplanned blessings from my 24th year of life.
I hope my list motivates you to live out your own goals and
dreams, little or big as they may be.
